Aaron Bock (Member of the Firm)
Aaron is admitted to practice law in the state of New York and in Federal Court in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  He is primarily engaged in the practice of matrimonial and family law and is also involved in real property law, business transactions, criminal defense matters, estate planning and civil litigation.

Aaron graduated from Queens College, City University of New York with a degree in legal science and earned his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University School of Law.

Aaron began practicing in 1978 in New York City before opening his Yorktown Heights office in 1984.  Together with Edwin Samalin, he formed the firm of Samalin & Bock, P.C. and concentrated in real estate, matrimonial and personal injury law. During this time, he served as law guardian in many cases and effectively advocated for children caught up in contested divorce and custody disputes.

In 1992, Aaron began the first of two elected terms as Supervisor of the Town of Yorktown, a full-time position which required him to leave the practice of law. As Supervisor, he not only served on the Town Board, but worked on many special projects with other communities and the Governor of the State of New York. He is particularly proud of working to protect and preserve the Croton Watershed as a representative of the Westchester communities located in the watershed area.

Upon leaving public office in 1996, Aaron returned to private practice, concentrating in matrimonial and family law, an outgrowth of his earlier work as a law guardian. After the retirement of his partner, Aaron continued a solo practice until his association with the firm of Quinn, Bock & Tota, PLLC, predecessors of his current firm.

Aaron is a member of the Westchester Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.  In addition to his legal work, he is active in civic and community affairs. He is a founding member of the New Yorktown Chamber of Commerce where he currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.  He is President of Temple Beth of Northern Westchester in Yorktown Heights. He has served as Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 38, in Shrub Oak, New York and leads monthly hikes, canoe trips and other outdoor activities at Teatown Lake Reservation in Ossining, New York.

Daniel R. Tota (Member of the Firm)
Daniel is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and Connecticut.  He is primarily engaged in real property law and business transactions and is also involved in criminal defense matters, estate planning and civil litigation.

Daniel graduated from the University of Hartford (magna cum laude) with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Sociology and Criminal Justice.  At the time of graduation, he was ranked number one in both departments and recognized by the faculty as the most outstanding graduate.  Daniel then attended Brooklyn Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor.

As an undergraduate, he was employed by the Office of the Bronx District Attorney and subsequently by the United States Attorney’s Office Southern District of New York.  Daniel spent the majority of his time at these positions assisting New York State and the United States Government in the prosecution of felony cases and with investigations under the RICO statutes involving major gangs and their affiliates.  Daniel was predominantly assigned to trial preparation work and was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the United States Department of Justice for his efforts.

Daniel began his legal career as an associate with Pappalardo & Pappalardo, LLP in Scarsdale, New York.  At Pappalardo & Pappalardo, LLP, he gained experience working on a host of real property cases and real estate closings.  He was also exposed to a wide variety of criminal defense cases and estate plans.  During this time, Daniel founded and developed a real estate brokerage company.  Following his tenure in Scarsdale, he joined Quinn & Associates in Yorktown Heights, New York where he continued to gain experience at a true general practice law firm.  Shortly thereafter, Daniel co-founded Quinn, Bock & Tota, PLLC the predecessor of Durante, Bock & Tota, PLLC.

Daniel is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Westchester Bar Association, the Yorktown Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association.  Daniel is happily married to his wife Janice and lives locally.  He and his wife were also born and raised locally.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing lacrosse, golf and chess.

Albert J. Durante (Member of the Firm)
Albert is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.  He is  engaged in the practice of personal injury law, matrimonial and family law, criminal defense matters, and civil litigation.

Albert graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Mass Media and Public Relations.  Albert then attended the Pace University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor.

As an undergraduate, he was employed at the law office of Lipsky, Seidman & Lipsky in NY, New York.  At this firm, he prepared and filed probate petitions in all five boroughs of New York and assisted in generating and administering estate plans.  During law school, he interned at the law office of Harrington, Ocko & Monk in White Plains, New York, where he worked in the firm’s civil defense department.

Albert began his legal career as an Associate in the Law office of Kopff, Nardell & Dopf in NY, New York where he continued his work in civil defense focusing on motion practice and trial preparation.  In 2003, Albert returned home to Mahopac, New York and became an Associate at Spain & Spain, PC.  He felt privileged to be able to serve many individual clients as opposed to the large insurance and construction companies that he had been representing.  He handled all aspects of the firm’s personal injury cases.  Albert was then invited into the firm of Quinn, Bock & Tota, PLLC, and co-founded Durante, Bock & Tota, PLLC. 

Albert is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Westchester Bar Association, the Yorktown Bar Association, and the Putnam Bar Association.  He and his wife Amy are the proud parents of their daughter Annie.  They live in the heart of Yorktown Heights.  In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering as a youth coach, playing club lacrosse and commentating for Mahopac High School varsity lacrosse games on local cable television.  He is also on the Board of Directors of the Hudson Valley Chapter of US Lacrosse where he serves as legal counsel. 

Jo-Ann Pepitone Quinn (Of Counsel to the Firm)
Jo-Ann is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and Connecticut.  She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court of Connecticut.  She is primarily engaged in civil litigation and is also involved in real estate and business transactions and matrimonial and family law.

Jo-Ann graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School.  Prior to attending law school, Jo-Ann worked as an accountant with Cahill, Larkin, & Co., PC, who later merged with Arthur Andersen & Company.  She was also employed by Polygram Records in NY, New York.  During law school she clerked for the Honorable David B. Saxe, presiding in the New York State Supreme Court.  She later served as a law clerk for Rosin & Reiniger.

Jo-Ann began practicing as a legal specialist with the New York City Law Department, Office of Corporation Counsel.  She worked exclusively in their tort division.  Jo-Ann then worked in Connecticut at the firm of Alter & Janenda.  Later, she returned to New York and established her own private practice, Quinn & Associates.

Jo-Ann is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association.  Jo-Ann is happily married to her husband Darren and has three children.  She resides in Dutchess County.

Robert Hoffman (Of Counsel to the Firm)
Robert is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.  He is primarily engaged in real property law, landlord and tenant law, business transactions and bankruptcy and is also involved in criminal defense matters and estate planning. 

Robert graduated from Manhattanville College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.  He earned both a Juris Doctor and an LLM in Environmental Law from the Pace University School of Law.

Robert was a sole practitioner in White Plains, New York for over twenty five years.  He has been of counsel to the firm for over five years.

Robert is married to his wife Carol and has three girls.  Robert resides locally.  In his free time, Robert enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle, which includes hiking, yoga and Tai Chi.  Robert is also an avid reader of historical, non-fiction books.

Angelo MacDonald (Of Counsel to the Firm)
Angelo is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey.  He is primarily engaged in representing both domestic and international clients in criminal and civil litigation.  His cases frequently include immigration and deportation issues.  He also actively engaged in matters that involve administrative law, corporate securities and entertainment law.     

Angelo graduated from the University of Michigan with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Political Science and Communications.  He attended Villanova University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor.

Angelo began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County, New York.  He then worked in the legal Department of Simmonds Capitol Limited.  Currently, he is also of counsel to Pappalardo & Pappalardo, LLP in Scarsdale, New York.

Angelo is a regular legal commentator and guest on Court TV, now Tru TV, MSNBC and Fox News. He is a member of numerous legal organizations.  He and his wife Mary are the proud parents of two boys.  They live in Manhattan.
